Auction Terms
Once a buyer see's a vehicle, at a price they feel they are happy to purchase at, they can pay the fixed price (plus Auction fees) that they see on the screen.
All vehicles MUST be viewed by either the buyer or somebody representing the buyer before a sale can take place.
If a vehicle is sold via auction, we can still buy cars and offer part exchange, ask one of our staff to give you a valuation for your vehicle.
We allow all types of inspections including test drives, RAC and the AA.
All of our vehicle's are HPI checked.
Vehicle Inspections
- We don't take partial payments or deposits on vehicles whatsoever.
- All vehicles have to be seen and paid for in full before any purchase can be completed.
- In the event that a buyer would like to have a vehicle inspected either by the AA, RAC (or similar) we do make an exception to allowing a vehicle to be 'held without sale'. There is a charge for this which is £50+VAT for the first 24 hours and £25+VAT for each additional 24 hours thereafter with a maximum duration of 7 days. Regardless of the outcome of the inspection this charge is not deducted from the sale of the vehicle, nor is it refundable. It is a charge for downtime of advertising, NOT a holding deposit.
This is not compulsory, only a recommendation by us. We cannot guarantee that a vehicle will be held for anyone not wishing to pay.
We allow test drives at £50+vat for a test drive which is refunded if you buy the chosen vehicle.
Summary
As the buyer of one of our vehicles in the Nimco Auction, you are committing yourself to a trade sale meaning you are buying a vehicle on the terms and you have adequate knowledge for purchasing a vehicle for the car trade, you do not need to be a member of Nimco Prestige in order to buy from us but we do like to stress that all vehicles must be bought based on your own opinion. Please note, vehicles bought in the auction may have underlying issues, need money spending on them and should not be driven away.
We make every effort to make it stress free for you to inspect our vehicles so please use this opportunity wisely. We try to keep our adverts factual, but please note mistake can occur. Please check with a salesperson any details that are important to you and may influence your decision whether to buy or not.

All Vehicles in the Nimco Auction are strictly sold as seen and are sold on trade terms; sold exactly as they would be at any other vehicle auction.
The sales invoice will show further information regarding the terms of sale.
Every buyer will be asked to read and sign a Trade Sale Invoice Agreement, plus this terms and conditions page.
We do not guarantee the mileage on any of our vehicles in the auction. An odometer reading will be taken on the day of sale but the buyer will be expected to undertake all of their own mileage/history checks.
In an event that there are multiple buyers at one time on a single vehicle, then we shall offer the sale to the highest paying buyer.
We cannot accept deposits or holding fees.
